Nanjing Sumino Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D, production, manufacturing and sales of films and sheets. Last time we talked about biaxially oriented films. Today we will take a look at the stretch films and production processes produced by our drift film production line. First, let's take a look at how the stretch film is classified:
1. Classification
In the industry, stretch films are classified from different angles, and the commonly used methods are as follows:
1. Classify by material
Classified by material, stretch film can be divided into polyethylene (PE) stretch film, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) stretch film, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) stretch film, etc. However, as mentioned above, at present, both at home and abroad, the stretching films used in mass production are all based on linear polyethylene without exception, and polyethylene stretching films have become the mainstream of stretching films.
2. Classify according to the structure of the film
According to the structure of the film, the stretch film can be divided into a single-layer stretch film and a multi-layer stretch film. Both sides of single-layer stretch film are sticky, also known as double-sided sticky stretch film; multi-layer stretch film, generally only one side is sticky, so it is often called single-sided sticky stretch film. With the improvement of film production equipment and technology, the production equipment of multi-layer stretch film is not as expensive as before, and multi-layer stretch film is conducive to improving product quality and reducing product cost. There is clearly a decreasing trend.
3. Classify by packaging method
According to the packaging method, stretching film can be divided into two categories: mechanical packaging stretching film and manual packaging stretching film. The former uses professional wrapping packaging machines (such as wrapping wrapping machines for tray packaging, wrapping wrapping machines for wire wrapping, wrapping wrapping machines for tire wrapping, etc.) High, the latter is packaged by manual winding and wrapping, and the requirements for film performance are relatively low.
4. Classify by purpose
Classified by application, stretching film can be divided into stretching film for industrial product packaging (such as stretching film for packaging of home appliances, machinery, chemicals, building materials, etc.), stretching film for agricultural packaging (such as stretching film for packaging of corn stalks, alfalfa and other silage) And three major categories of wrapping films for household packaging (that is, plastic wrap or wrapping films for refrigerators that people usually talk about).
In addition, it can be divided into migratory and non-migratory thickening stretching films according to the different ways of thickening; according to different colors, it can be divided into transparent stretching films, colored stretching films and opaque stretching films.
2. Production process
The production of Nanjing Sumino Seiko stretch film can adopt the casting process and blow molding process that are widely used in non-stretched films.
1. Casting process
The use of cast film forming method to wind the film not only has the advantages of high production efficiency, good product thickness uniformity and high transparency compared with the blown film method, but also can reduce the amount of tackifier (using the cast method to produce household film) When winding the film, even without adding a tackifier), it is beneficial to reduce the production cost of the product, and is currently the most widely used process in the production of stretching film.
2. Blow molding process
The blow molding process is also the most common film-forming process used in the production of films in the plastics industry. Compared with the casting method, its biggest advantage is that the price is lower and the one-time investment is less. In terms of product quality and formula cost, etc., they are at a relatively disadvantaged position, so they are less used.
