A casting machine, also known as an extender, is a mechanical device used to form a highly uniform film, sheet, or foil-like material on a metal surface. It usually consists of a rolling mechanism, a stretching mechanism, a coating mechanism, a cutting mechanism and other parts.

The principle of the casting machine is to use the roller or multi-wheel pressure to act on the wet viscous material to make it uniformly stretched to form film, sheet or foil material. The main operation steps are to put the raw materials evenly into the rolling mechanism, and make the raw materials into film, sheet or foil materials through the processes of heating, extruding, rolling, stretching and cutting.

The process of casting machine can be divided into several steps such as feeding, heating, stretching and cutting. First of all, the raw material or semi-finished product feeding, and then after heating, so that the raw material to reach a certain melting temperature, followed by stretching, so that the raw material stretching to extend, and then cut off, in order to get the required thickness of the film or sheet.
